These 27 words seem to be the most difficult words in the English language to understand. Our gun rights are under attack by government officials at all levels every day. We must remain vigilant in our fight to retain our rights and our freedom.

West Shore Sportsmen's Association urges you to get involved by supporting the NRA or any other pro 2nd Amendment group. It's your freedom. Do something to protect it. Get involved.

  • National Rifle Association

    Dismayed by the lack of marksmanship shown by their troops, Union veterans Col. William C. Church and Gen. George Wingate formed the National Rifle Association in 1871. The primary goal of the association would be to "promote and encourage rifle shooting on a scientific basis", according to a magazine editorial written by Church.

    While widely recognized today as a major political force and as America's foremost defender of Second Amendment rights, the NRA has, since its inception, been the premier firearms education organization in the world.

    If you join or renew your annual NRA membership through the West Shore Sportsmen's Association, we will pay $10 for you. It's that important.

  • Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership

    Founded by Jews in 1989, JPFO initially aimed at educating the Jewish community about the historical evils that Jews have suffered when they have been disarmed. JPFO has always welcomed people of all religious beliefs who share a common goal of opposing and reversing victim-disarmament policies while advancing liberty for all.

    JPFO is a non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) educational civil-rights organization, not a lobby. JPFO’s products and programs reach out to as many segments of the American people as possible, using bold tactics without compromise on fundamental principles.

    JPFO has always welcomed people of all religious beliefs (or none) who share a common goal of opposing and reversing potentially deadly victim disarmament policies. You don’t have to be Jewish to join JPFO; you just have to love freedom.

  • Gun Owners of America

    Gun Owners of America (GOA) is a non-profit lobbying organization formed in 1975 to preserve and defend the Second Amendment rights of gun owners. GOA sees firearms ownership as a freedom issue.

    GOA was founded in 1975 by Sen. H.L. (Bill) Richardson (now retired). Richardson continues to serve as the Chairman of Gun Owners of America, bringing his many years of political experience to the leadership of GOA. Richardson is also an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
