This 16-hour class gives you the ability to apply for a Maryland Wear and Carry Handgun Permit. If you were honorably discharged from the U.S. Military, you are exempt from the training requirement.

Our fee for the class is $350. There may be a small Guest/facility fee for WSSA ($5).

On both days you will need your handgun, holster (outside the waistband) made for your make/model handgun, magazines (or speedloaders for revolver) 200 rounds of ammunition for training and qualification, and ear and eye protection. Live-fire shooting is done on Day 2 only. The qualification course MUST be shot with a center-fire caliber (so no .22s).

Minimum passing score is 70%. 25 round Course of Fire. You will have three (3) attempts to pass. Failure to pass will require additional costs for remediation and testing at a later date.

Student Responsibility; Not required to be done before class:

Application for the permit is done with Maryland. Maryland will collect application fees, passport photo(s), etc.

Training is valid until the permit expiration. However, you must receive subsequent training within 2 years of submitting your renewal or subsequent application.

Wear and Carry Permit training is 16 hours of instruction for an original application and 8 hours of instruction for a renewal application.
