SAFETY
Review of Rifle Parts/Nomenclature. Common parts failures and Planned Maintenance.
Field strip, re-assembly, and function check.
Review of Cycle of Operation, as related to common malfunctions.
Explanation of Rifle Zeroing
Discussion of Rifle Optics (RDS, Variable Power, Irons)
General Ballistics of Common .223/5.56 rounds
Afternoon:
SAFETY
(Dry Fire)Trigger Control, Loading and Unloading, Malfunctions and Clearances. Red dot sight failure drills.
(Live Fire) ?Confirmation of zero. (Irons and RDS) and Recording Same
