What is this?
WSSA .22 Rimfire Rifle Youth Fun-Shoot
This event is intended for youth age 8-15 years.
Pre-event registration is required and the cost is $10 for WSSA Members, $15 for non-members. Ammunition, drinks and snacks will be provided.
Participants will execute a series of timed and slow-fire strings at a variety of targets. Scores will be recorded and provided to each participant, but this is not a competition so scores will not be tallied or published. This format allows youth of different ages with different equipment to all have fun and do their best.
The event will feature strict safety protocols. All rifles to be used in the event must be in a case or bag and presented at checkin for inspection/clearing. No firearm handling will be permitted outside the direct control of a range safety officer. Ammunition will be issued to each on-deck shooter by the RSO with any unfired rounds collected at the end of each string of fire.
Please use the email contact link in the event to send any questions or comments.
